Case study
Transit
A new brand identity and website for an independent travel label rethinking how people move.

Overview
Transit is an independent travel platform built around slow, deliberate trips — night trains, coastal routes, cities worth lingering in. Ahead of their public launch, the founders needed a brand and site that felt like the trips themselves: unhurried, atmospheric, considered.

Challenge
Travel sites tend to default to loud photography and countdown timers built for urgency. Transit needed the opposite — a site calm enough to make browsing feel like the first part of the journey, without losing the practical booking flow travelers actually need.

Approach
We built the site around long-exposure photography and generous negative space, letting each route feel like a single held breath rather than a grid of thumbnails. A restrained type system and muted palette carried the mood from brand to booking flow without ever feeling like two different products.
Services: Brand identity · Art direction · Website design · Framer build

Result
Transit launched with its first three routes fully booked within the opening week, and the founders report that press coverage consistently references the site's look before the trips themselves — rare for a travel brand at launch.
