Case study
Cadence
Art direction and campaign identity for an independent streetwear label shaped by late nights, film cameras, and the city after dark.

Overview
Cadence is an independent streetwear label from Lyon, making small-batch collections inspired by club culture and the city after midnight. For its third collection, the founders wanted a campaign that felt as personal as the clothes, and a visual identity that could carry from the lookbook to the shop window.

Challenge
Streetwear campaigns tend to look alike: clean studio light, neutral backdrops, product front and center. Cadence needed the opposite: images with mood and movement, where the clothes feel worn and lived in, while keeping the collection clear enough to sell online.

Approach
We built the campaign around one rule: shoot it like a night out. Direct flash, colored gels, and 35mm film gave every frame the grain and spontaneity of a real moment, while a tight palette of acid green, signal red, and deep violet tied the series together. The same codes then shaped the lookbook, the e-shop, and the in-store posters.
Services: Art direction · Campaign photography · Visual identity · Lookbook design

Result
The campaign launched across the e-shop and two pop-up stores in Lyon and Paris. The first drop sold out in nine days, and the lookbook was picked up by three independent fashion magazines, each running the images without retouching.
