Case study
Nord Architecture
A new website for an architecture studio turning forgotten buildings into everyday spaces.

Overview
Nord Architecture designs adaptive-reuse buildings — old warehouses, churches, and mills turned into homes, studios, and public spaces. Ahead of three major openings, the studio needed a site that could carry the weight of the work without ever feeling heavy.

Challenge
The studio's projects live and die on how they're photographed, but the existing site buried every image behind slow-loading galleries and generic templates. The brief was to build something fast, image-first, and calm enough to let the architecture — not the interface — do the talking.

Approach
We built the site around full-bleed photography and a single, quiet typeface, letting each project breathe across the page instead of competing with navigation. Framer's native transitions replaced the old gallery plugin, so pages load instantly and scroll like a printed portfolio.
Services: Art direction · Website design · Framer build · Photography curation

Result
The new site launched alongside Nord Architecture's Lisbon opening. Average time on a project page more than doubled, and two of the three press features that followed linked directly to the site rather than a press kit — a first for the studio.
