Case study
Field Studio
Brand identity and art direction for a furniture studio designing pieces meant to be lived in.

Overview
Field Studio designs furniture meant to be used, not just displayed — pieces built for small spaces that still need to feel considered. Preparing their first standalone collection, the studio needed a brand and site that felt as tactile as the furniture itself.

Challenge
Furniture sites often force a choice between an aspirational lifestyle shoot and a practical spec sheet. Field Studio needed both at once — imagery warm enough to sell a feeling, paired with the dimensions and materials people actually check before buying a chair.

Approach
We shot every piece in real, lived-in rooms rather than a studio, then built the site to let that photography lead — dimensions and materials tucked into a simple expandable panel rather than cluttering the main view. The identity itself stayed quiet: one typeface, one accent color, so the furniture always reads as the product.
Services: Brand identity · Art direction · Website design · Photography direction

Result
Field Studio's debut collection sold out its first production run before the official launch date, largely through the site's waitlist — validating the decision to lead with photography over specs.
